    Grade I and II visited the Iskon Temple
    “Field trips are an opportunity for you to enter into the world of mystical power.” - Frederick Lenz
    Keeping this thought in mind, our students of Grade I and II visited the Iskon Temple which is dedicated to Lord Krishna. They did parikrama of the temple and also danced on the beats of Hare Rama Hare Krishna with full zeal and enthusiasm.They got an opportunity to experience and reflect on the features and artefacts depicting scenes from Lord Krishna’s life. Moreover, the visit helped our students to discover the exciting and unique world of Indian culture and spirituality. The educational excursion was a great learning experience for them.

      Love for the animal companions.

      Spreading Love for Our Furry Friends!
      To mark the importance of the World Animal Welfare Day, our little champions of Grade I and II took the lead as they raised awareness and showered their love for the animal companions.
      Our young Goenkans poured their creativity into colorful posters, spreading messages of kindness and respect towards all living creatures.
      With handmade posters in hand and with enthusiastic footsteps and cheerful chants,they organized a colorful rally through our school campus with full compassion.
      Let's join hands with these young change-makers and pledge to make the world a better place for animals. After all, it's a world we share with them!

        Trip To Dubai
        It is rightly said that ' We travel not to escape life but for life not to escape us ' . Dubai, called by some a dream in a desert and by some a gateway between the East and the West. It is always a pleasure to explore the adventures and the wonders that the place has in store .
        GD Goenka Public School Paschim Vihar had organised an awesome and wonderful trip to Dubai from 8th October to 13th October, 2023.
        It was overall an enriching and a pleasant experience for all our dear students .
        The exciting itinerary includes some interesting and breathtaking places like Lost Chambers, Desert Safari, Snow Park Classic, Burj Khalifa , Ferrari World and Warner Brothers in Abu Dhabi. Our students had the most memorable experience and they would treasure the same throughout their life .

          POCSO ACT

          On 17th Oct 2023, an informative workshop on POCSO Act was conducted for the classes VIII and IX in the school premises. It aimed to raise awareness among students, focusing on the Challenges of cyberbullying and educating them about the act. The event was structured to Empower adolescents with knowledge and skills to navigate the digital world responsibly while also being aware of their rights and personal safety.

            Exciting Showdown: Inter House Football Match

            The school was buzzing with enthusiasm as students from all houses of classes IX & X gathered at the ground on 17 October, 2023 for the much awaited Inter house Football Match.

            The Four houses Radha Krishan, Teresa, Vivekanand and Tagore had been training diligently to showcase their skill on the field. Each team out in their house colors were proudly displaying their unity and school pride.

            Several players delivered outstanding performance. The goals and save made the audience jump to their feet in excitement.

            Here comes the Final Results:

            After a series of exciting matches, the result were as follows

            • Vivekananad vs Teresa - Won by Teresa
            • Radha Krishan vs Tagore - Won by Radha Krishan
            • Radha Krishan vs Teresa - Won by Teresa

            Congratulation to the winning house and kudos to all the participants. The Inter house Football Match at G.D Goenka was not just a match between two Teams but also a celebration of unity, sportsmanship and unbeatable spirit of our students.

            The celebration continued even after the Matches had concluded. Participants and Spectators celebrated the Camaraderie that sports bring.

            Thank you to all the Participants, Coaches and Spectators for making this event a success.

                Ryan Mehta of Class IX won the Under - 14 National Championship
                The Goenkan Lawn Tennis prodigy, Ryan Mehta of Class IX won the Under - 14 National Championship Series held at M M Public School , Pitampura.
                We are all very proud of Ryan. May he continue to flourish on the Tennis Courts.

                  54th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi,
                  "A salute to the man who led us to the freedom of thoughts, words and actions!"
                  To mark the celebration of 154th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a special assembly was presented by the students of KG fabulous with full zeal and enthusiasm.
                  The assembly begun with a special tribute to our "Father of the nation". Our young Goenkans articulated Gandhi's ideology and contributions towards India's independence skillfully through various mediums like- songs, thought and dance performances.
                  Their musical act gave an insight about the life and time of Mahatma Gandhi. It also helped to understand the ideology and concept of honesty, truth , non- violence and love for humanity.
                  The celebration served as a reminder to the younger generation of the power, of moral courage and the potential for positive change through peaceful means.

                    Grade-II, Tvesha Singh

                    "Winning doesn't always mean being first, winning means you're doing better than you've done before."

                    It's a glorious and proud moment for our school as our vibrant student of Grade-II,  Tvesha Singh has bagged the 17th position out of 123 girls in 36th National Under-7  Open And Girls Chess Championship 2023 organized by CARA BANGLA DABA SANGSTHA. We congratulate our budding champion for her outstanding performance.
