To commemorate India's victory of our soldiers,the students of Grade Kg Vibrant presented an assembly on Kargil Vijay Diwas through which they expressed their gratitude to the Indian armed forces for their dedication and valor.They paid tribute to our Indian soldiers through a patriotic song. lt was a proud moment to see our Goenkans confidently sharing their views and singing national anthem with utmost pride and conviction.

'Painting is the silence of thought and the music of sight'.

Painting is fun and a learning avenue for our children. It is a significant way with which a child can convey the idea, express emotions, use different senses, explore colour, explore process and the outcomes. Today's Vegetable Printing activity helped our tiny tots of Grade Nursery to experience the world of colours, textures as they dipped the vegetables in a variety of colours. 
This activity taught them to appreciate nature for providing us with such nutritious vegetables which keeps our body fit and healthy.

Accolades to Abhinav Dubey of grade VII for achieving second position in सस्वर वाचन-शिव तांडव स्तोत्र inter-school competition held at G.D. Goenka Public School, Sector-9, Rohini.

A glimpse of board games created by our young Goenkans of grade VII using their innovation and creativity while applying the basic rules of Mathematics. Indeed, it was an amalgamation of fun and learning.

Goenkans represented themselves in 12th Central District Taekwondo Championship. 
Hridaan Kataria of grade VI won Gold medal and Airah of grade III made us proud by achieving Silver medal. Prashish of grade II & Reyansh of grade III bagged bronze medal. 

We appreciate our champions for their victory.

While adding up numbers seems to come naturally but the concept of Subtracting things doesn’t always come as easily.

 Today's hands-on Subtraction activity for our Grade I students was a great way to engage as they subtracted one digit from another using  'Play dough Smash Activity'. 

This activity with a concrete object helped our learners as they observed what it means to subtract and take away from something. It was a well planned activity which showed learning by doing in its literal sense.

A yet another feather has been added to our cap!
Our goenkans, Shambhavi Karmarkar from grade VIII and Nitsa Anand from grade VII bagged first position in the Poster Making competition and Canvas Making competition respectively in the Inter-School Competition held at G.D. Goenka, Rohini on 22nd July 2023.

An Inter-School Taekwondo Tournament was hosted by the Sri Ram Global School on July 23, 2023. About more than 300 students from different schools across Delhi NCR participated in this tournament under various categories. The first position trophy was bagged by G.D.Goenka Public School, Paschim Vihar. Indeed, our goenkans have made us proud.

Yoga is an ancient art that connects the mind and the body.

Keeping this in mind, we conducted an Inter-Class Yoga competition amongst the students of grade IV on 12 July 2023.

This competition endeavoured to provide a platform to the students to exercise their yoga skills.
The participants showed exemplary performances and were adjudged by Yoga expert Ms Lalita Kumari on the basis of flexibility, co-ordination, grace and correctness of posture. 

Somya Goyal of IV Energetic bagged first position. Garvi Sharma of IV Energetic secured the second position whereas Aanya Mittal of IV Energetic stood third. Last and fourth position was bagged by Aarnya Kalra of IV Energetic. 

We are proud of our young Yogis as their spectacular performance and flawless asanas left us spellbound.

On 13th July 2023, the students of G.D. Goenka Paschim Vihar were involved in an activity oriented towards Rubik Cube. It helped children in improving their memory, speed, agility and enhanced their concentration & determination as well.  They practiced collaborative learning during this process where grade X and XII students mentored grade VII & VIII.  
Indeed, it developed patience and perseverance among our students.

The exemplary performance of Goenkans in the Bhangra Competition in Grandeur conducted by G.D. Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj, has bagged them the third position. Kudos to all the students and teachers.

An interactive and impactful workshop to introduce effective teaching techniques was conducted on 4 July 2023 on Differentiated Learning and Strategies in association with G.D. Goenka group of schools. Multiple teaching techniques were discussed to make the teaching learning process more interesting and effective. Spotlight was on the importance of child friendly techniques. Queries and challenges faced by the teachers were addressed and novel ideas for teaching were shared. Teachers were inspired to incorporate various language games to make the class more interactive. Lolly Lotto, Hot Potato, Silent Chalk Talk, Loop Card, DIY Bingo are to name a few.�It was concluded by suggesting the teachers to utilize good techniques for planning, implementation and evaluation. We can proudly say that the workshop was reflective and goal oriented.
