School trip to Udaipur

In a captivating journey that spanned 2 nights and 3 days, students from grades 5th to 12th embarked on an unforgettable school trip to Udaipur. The trip kicked off with a visit to the picturesque Lake Pichola, where students enjoyed the serenity of its azure waters and marveled at the architectural elegance of the surrounding structures.

Next on the itinerary was the renowned City Palace, a historical gem that transported students through the annals of time. From intricate architecture to opulent courtyards, every corner of the palace served as a living testament to Udaipur’s royal legacy, leaving students in awe of its grandeur.Saheliyon ki Bari, a mesmerizing garden adorned with fountains and lush greenery, provided a refreshing escape.

No trip is complete without a taste of local culture, and Udaipur did not disappoint. Students delved into the vibrant tapestry of the city through a session of local shopping, where they engaged with traditional crafts . Back at the resort, the evenings were alive with excitement as students enjoyed a DJ night, dancing under the starlit Udaipur sky. A bonfire added a touch of warmth, fostering camaraderie and lasting memories among the participants.

The Udaipur school trip proved to be a blend of education, culture, and fun, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who participated.

कक्षा पाँचवी गतिविधि

सभी छात्रों को *पृथ्वी के वायुमंडल* का मॉडल बनाने के लिए दिया गया। उन्होंने जाना उल्काएँ कहाँ हैं वे धरती पर कैसे आती हैं, पृथ्वी का वायुमंडल लगभग 78% नाइट्रोजन, 21% ऑक्सीजन और 1% अन्य गैसों से बना है। नाइट्रोजन (N2): यह हवा में सबसे अधिक मात्रा में पाई जाने वाली गैस है।वायुमण्डल विभिन्न गैसों का मिश्रण है जो पृथ्वी को चारो ओर से घेरे हुए है। निचले स्तरों में वायुमण्डल का संघटन अपेक्षाकृत एक समान रहता है। ऊँचाई में गैसों की आपेक्षिक मात्रा में परिवर्तन पाया जाता है।

International Disability Day

GD Goenka Paschim Vihar celebrated International Disability Day with enthusiasm and inclusivity. The school organized various events to raise awareness and foster a sense of unity among students, particularly highlighting the capabilities of children with special needs.

As part of the celebrations, an impactful rally was organized, featuring enthusiastic participation from 11th-grade students. The rally aimed to spread awareness about the importance of inclusivity, understanding, and support for individuals with disabilities. Students carried placards and banners advocating for equal opportunities and respect for people of all abilities.

In a remarkable display of inclusivity, the school also hosted a talent hunt competition exclusively for children with special needs. The competition showcased the diverse talents and abilities of these children, emphasizing their unique skills and creativity. The event not only provided a platform for self-expression but also created an atmosphere of encouragement and acceptance .

It was a moment of pride for G D Goenka Public School, Paschim Vihar, when the Vice Principal Ms. Monika Malik was honoured with the Avantika National Award 2023 at a ceremony held at Hindi Bhawan.
