Blessing Ceremony

Let you hard work propel you to speed so fast that good luck has no choice but to ride with a winner like you

To bless the Board students with all the good wishes "Blessing Ceremony" was organised by GD Goenka Public School, Paschim Vihar on 16 February. The ceremony was graced by the Principal Ms. Rekha Sharma and Vice Principal Ms. Monica Malik. They lit the ceremonial lamp and boosted the morale of students with their motivational words. Academic coordinator Mr Nadeem Arshad too addressed the gathering and gave some valuable tips for the upcoming board exams.

“Smaash- A Global Indoor Play Zone”

“Nothing teaches a child more than exploring the world and accumulating experiences.“

To culminate the session of 2022-2023, a day out was organised for the students of Grade I and II. Our young Goenkans visited “Smaash- A Global Indoor Play Zone” on 16th February,2023. They enjoyed their long bus ride in full enthusiasm with their friends. They were also engaged in several games like Magic Hockey, Car Ride and Bike Ride. The place also gave them an opportunity to experience and explore various 3-D movies and digital Roller Coaster ride. The dance floor was grooved with our dynamic and energetic students. This excursion made their day memorable and special for them.

No Fire Cooking

“Cooking with kids is not just about ingredients or recipes, it’s about harnessing imagination, empowerment and creativity.”

The school organized an experiential learning activity- No Fire Cooking on 9th February, 2023 with a view to create awareness about flameless cooking and to encourage them to adapt healthy lifestyle by eating nutritious food. They displayed a mini stall to present their dishes. This activity not only enhanced their taste buds but also taught them the wonderful art of sharing.

We hear the cries of the many who are suffering from the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Let us pray collectively for all those who know You, those who desire to know You, and those who do not know You. We, the young goenkans, join our hands and pray for Turkey and Syria!

Movie Time

'An excursion is not just a pleasure trip; it is an extension of the classroom.'

G.D. Goenka Public School, Paschim Vihar organized a Movie Time for the students of Grade Nursery - KG to culminate the session 2022-23.

The movie was a heartwarming tale about finding your voice, following your passion, and the power of found family. Our young Goenkans were convulsed with laughter while watching the musical, adventurous and thrilling movie. This indeed has set an example of Experiential learning wherein the students had a joyous yet informative day.

Experiential Learning Activity on Traditional Games

A knowledgeable and informative Experiential Learning Activity on Traditional Games of India was conducted on 9 Feb 2023 for students of Grade V catering to the Multidisciplinary Approach. It highlighted the diverse perspectives that different disciplines can bring to illustrate a particular theme. Two major disciplines i.e Sports and EVS were facilitated through this activity. It was an insightful  and interesting experience for students and teachers both.
