Farewell Ceremony 2021-2022

G. D Goenka Public School hosted a farewell ceremony for the Class XII batch of 2021-22 on 22nd April, 22. An enthusiastic and sentimental Class XIth took great pride in organising this ceremony to bid adieu to their seniors, who are now all set to embrace the challenging world ahead. 
Our respected Principal Ma'am congratulated the students and wished them good luck for their future endeavors.
The farewell was an ensemble of dance, music and laughter as the hosts impressed the audience with showcasing their vast repository of skills. The star studded event turned all the more illuminating with class XII students walking the ramp. Pritika and Kabir were given the titles of Ms.G.D Goenka and Mr. G. D Goenka respectively. The programme was concluded with a speech by the respected Vice principal ma'am who wished students the best.

    The World Heritage Day

    “Heritage and pride, go side by side.”

     

    The World Heritage Day was celebrated on 18th April, 2022 at GD Goenka Public School with great zeal and fervour.In order to mark the importance of preserving our culture, a special rally was conducted by the students of Grade II. The motto of the rally was 'Our World, Our Heritage, Our Pride'. The students took a pledge to save the heritage and the culture of the world. Their ideas and views were easily evident with the vibrant and meaningful posters which were made by our young Goenkans.

      Baisakhi Celebration

      Baisakhi, the festival of harvest, joy and warmth.

      To acquaint the students with the rich culture and heritage of India, the festival of Baisakhi was celebrated with fervour and gaiety at G.D Goenka Public School. Our young Goenkans were decked up in beautiful attires as they performed on different folk dances.
      Our young learners were engaged in various activities which helped them to understand the significance of the festival. 
      Our tiny tots of Nursery and KG made corn craft and dhol craft which added more colour, and fun to the celebration. The day ended with a JAM session where the students danced on the bhangra beats with their friends and teachers.
