Celebrates the Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev Ji

To celebrate the Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, a visit to Gurdwara- which means “door to the guru” was organized for our young learners of Grade NUR - II on 3rd November 2022.They paid their due respect to the holy book –‘Guru Granth Sahib’ as they bowed in front of Granth Sahib and did a parikrama. Each learner was given Kada prasad by the priest as they were leaving the worship place.
This short and pious journey ended with a smile and sense of calmness on every learner’s face where they learnt that we need to respect all religions and each religion is different and has its own culture, art, language, customs and tradition.

Workshop on an indispensable issue of adolescence

Elegance is not the prerogative of those who have just escaped from adolescence, but of those who have already taken possession of their future.

GD Goenka Public School Paschim Vihar had organised a workshop on an indispensable issue of adolescence. The spokesperson of the workshop Ms . Jayshree had stressed upon some very evident issues of adolescence including behavioural and physical changes, change in the treatment of society , development of teen brain , hormonal and cognitive changes and many other important issues . It was overwhelming to see the response of the students, they were actively participating and asking evident questions. She had encouraged and motivated our students thoroughly . Students really enjoyed this informative and enriching workshop.

Gyan Devi Memorial Inter-School Debate Competition

A yet another proud and joyful moment for the entire GD Goenka, Paschim Vihar family as Ushneek Kaur of class 8-A showcased her exceptional skills in 24 Smt. Gyan Devi Memorial Inter-School Debate Competition held at Adarsh Public School, Vikaspuri and brought laurels for the school. She bagged third position in the competition. Heartiest Congratulations to our achievers and Ms Harleen Kaur under whose mentorship this achievement could be plausible. Undoubtedly, it was an amazing and enriching experience.

Our young Goenkan Harshul Loungiany of class 9- A is a prone exemplar of the same . His achievements and accomplishments had overwhelmed and swamped us all . He had indeed made the school exceedingly proud by giving phenomenal performances in the field of dance and acting. We feel extremely proud in sharing with you all that Harshul is highly acknowledged and celebrated artist in the entertainment industry .He had acted in the highly acclaimed movies like Dhoop Chhaon and The wall . One of his highly anticipated movie Bal Naren is also getting released on 11 November on the occasion of Children's day . He had performed in many of the popular TV shows including , the most watched show Crime Petrol . He had also given auditions for many of the dance reality shows and had stunned the judges and the audience with his graceful dance moves . He had given the beautiful representation of perfection, precision and rightness . GD Goenka Public School Paschim Vihar is extremely pleased to inform that Harshul had also received the best child artist award in 6th Mega Award seminar and award ceremony from the renowned TV actor Rakesh Bedi . Harshul is surely an asset to our school and we wish him all the success and prosperity in life .
