Acknowledgement ceremony was conducted for winners of Inter Class Competitions for classes Nur to II. Students were felicitated for their outstanding performance in Quiz Time and Poem Recitation competitions.

Certificates were given to achievers which motivated them to perform par excellence.

    G D Goenka Public School, Paschim Vihar celebrated the 73rd independence Day on 14th August 2019. Chief Guest Brig Ajay Chandpuriya and School Director Dr. Bedi graced the occasion. Brig Ajay Chandpuriya,Dr. Bedi, Principal and Vice Principal unfurled the National Flag. Brig Ajay Chandpuriya addressed the students and teachers and motivated them to serve their Mother Land and to be proud citizens of the country. Principal Dr. Suchitra Bhattacharya addressed the gathering where she motivated the students to be potential leaders and responsible citizens. Students showcased their talent in the form of songs and dances. The Special performance on Tribute to Soldiers mesmerized and sensitized the audience. Vote of thanks was bestowed by Head Mistress Ms. Monika Malik.

      Keeping this maxim deep in our hearts, G D Goenka, Paschim Vihar, organised Cynosure - a literary festival! The audience saw schools from far and wide in attendance. The event commenced with the lamp lighting, which was graced by the presence of honourable Principal, Vice Principal and the esteemed dignatories and Jury Members. The tiny tots showcased their creative prowess in Tableau de Presentation, Craft Shady and Poetry Galore. The enthusiastic participants enthralled the audience with their power packed performances in Boogie Clan. The budding painters illustrated their artistic skills by painting the town red, in La Creativite. The young actors in-making displayed their acting genius in Ad Mad. To culminate the event , the young melodious marvels made the audience Sing Along with the fusion of Western and Indian beats. St Thomas bagged the Rolling Trophy. The audience saw schools in attendance from far and wide.
      It was truly the cynosure for ages which included scintillating performances and a gathering of different cultures that not only attracted the eyes of the judges but also everyone who was present.
