The young Goenkans of classes II - C,D,E beautifully portrayed and celebrated the festivals of love and divinity in the special assembly on August 28,2018. The programme included the vibrant dances , role plays and dramatization. The Nukkad Natak depicting the significance of Raksha Bandhan and the Bal Krishan Leela were the highlights of the event. The Prize distribution ceremony facilitated all the winners with certificates and trophies. Principal ma’am appreciated the presence of parents and participation of all.

    Exploring the surroundings lay a better and deeper impact on children. Keeping in view the overall development of the children, a visit to the Aeroplanet , Dwarka was organised for classes Nursery - III. They enjoyed the live demonstrations arranged by the crew members. Children were spellbound to see various aeroplanes, cockpit and enjoyed adventurous activities and thrilling rides. The day concluded with a delicious lunch with their friends. The children had an enriching experience.
      All the Indian festivals are celebrated by little Goenkans with zeal and zest and make them realise the cultural roots and drawing their hearts towards love -Onam and Eid were celebrated by children of class II-A,B.
      The event included vibrant dance performances , role play and innovative ideas presented by the children.The Sufi dance performance was the highlight of the assembly creating a pious and positive aura all around. The principal, Dr Suchitra Bhattacharya appreciated the efforts put in by the children and teachers. The children were blessed by the presence of their parents and received a great applause from everyone present.
        The school organised Grandparents Day titled - My Fantasy Realm presented by the young Goenkans of Class KG with the aim of strengthening the already strong bond that they share with the grandparents. Each one was given an eco friendly welcome. The function commenced with a traditional lamp lighting by the Principal Dr Suchitra Bhattacharya , the Vice Principal Ms Rekha Sharma and our special guests- the grandparents.
        My Fantasy Realm chosen as the theme gave the audience a sneak peek into the young minds of children which are filled with dreams, wishes, aspirations and imaginary flights. The spectacular finale with all participants on stage enthralled the grandparents with a smile and a thundering applause from all.
        The event came to a beautiful end by a heart warming message from the Principal, Dr Suchitra Bhattacharya.
